Three years. Three years spent in a place that I could never call home. Don't get me wrong, Provo is a lovely place with lovely scenery and lovely people, but never really the place for me. Two weeks ago, I worked my last shift at the place I called work for 3 years. About a week ago, I finished my last final that I will ever take at UVU. And next week I'll pay the last rent check for my Provo apartment. I feel liberated!!! This is the first big change in my life that I'm not kicking myself in the butt for. Provo and I seem to have a love/hate relationship. At times, it was a hard place to be and I constantly felt like I had to act and behave a certain way, the pressure to be married was weighing on me and constantly the topic of conversation, I was engaged, unengaged, and single all in a years time, and I never managed to find a good group of gal friends to goof off with (besides my sweet roomies of course). Despite the negative experiences and lonely moments, I will always LOVE Provo for the positive experiences and happy days I had there. These moments are what kept me going when things got rough, and helped me develop an attachment to the land of Zoobs.
Bridelveil falls- this place is absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful and I plan on taking many trips to see it every year.
